In the Lyme community I think it’s fair to say we know a lot about detoxing and the many forms of detox from colon liver kidney to drinking lemon water, going in a sauna , lymphatic drainage and so on. I’ve been experiencing with some non conventional ways to detox. These forms of detox are also much cheaper than going out and buying a cleanse when essentially food can do it all. Food is your medicine!
👊Keto Diet 👊 Keto Diet is one way to detox the body by starving off pathogens by not feeding it it’s main source of fuel which is – SUGAR. By starving off the pathogens and not feeding them they begin to die vs replicate. Taking the dish and high carbs away allows for the body to begin to heal.
👊Intermittent fasting 👊 intermittent fasting or IF gives the digestive track a huge break. Digesting food takes a lot of energy for the body and ppl with weakened immune systems typically even have a harder time and ppl with weakened immune systems tend to have problems with yeast over growth. Sugar and carbs fuel that beast. So intermittent fasting combined with keto is like a lunch is the gut for those pathogens.
There are many ways to IF not the most Popular ways is an eating window of 8 hours ,
so you essentially fasting for 16 hours. The research says amazing things can happen by giving your body this break.
‘Restricting calories is a helpful metabolic stressor, like exercise. Eating within a certain time frame pushes your body in a different metabolic direction than if you were eating all the time.
Intermittent fasting will trigger AUTOPHAGY , which is a crucial defense mechanism against malignancy, infection and neurodegenerative diseases. It’s basically your body’s way of cleaning out cells that aren’t performing at their best.
Research find short-term fasting is an effective way of triggering neuronal autophagy (cleaning up brain cells that aren’t doing well) and therefore protect your brain against neurodegenerative diseases.[*]

So IF especially fasting at least 16 hours is cleaning up and repairing your cells. Yesterday my first meal of the day was salad with garlic and acv snd thsg will be the last time I do this. The detox was so intense because duh garlic and acv are so healing and detoxifying but it was too much for my first meal of the day because my stomach was so empty and then I added in more things to kill the beast.

im going to need to slow things down because the die off has been intense and I don’t know how because I quite like IF which to be honest I believe causes the most die off do to eating keto. I also do the salt to support my adrenals so not sure how to slow it down. Yesterday the detox was so intense and bad but I know it’s cleansing out the bad guys and getting me one step closer to full health and after all this is the reason to do all
